Ali Corley is a California native and also grew up in Colorado. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology with a thesis focus on seabird ecology at Pomona College in Claremont, California.  While at Pomona, Ali was a 4 time varsity softball player and broke school records for most homeruns in a single season and career. She earned her medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire. After completing an internal medicine internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Corley went on to pursue further training in general cardiology and interventional cardiology at Duke.

Dr. Corley is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. Clinically, she has a particular interest in complex coronary interventions and novel devices for vessel imaging and modification. Dr. Corley is also passionate about health care access and advocacy for underserved patients. Prior to medical school, Dr. Corley cofounded a non profit organization that provided financial assistance and medical supplies to hospitals and clinics in the Philippines. As a medical student and resident, Dr. Corley participated in and served as Chair for the local urban and global health programs. She is also interested in mentorship for women in cardiology and procedural subspecialties.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Corley enjoys activities such as hiking and biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. She roots for the Boston Red Sox and the Duke Blue Devils. She is married to a mechanical engineer from Maine. They have one son together and a sweet, but not very smart mutt named Silvie.
